     The beauty of Spring Hill Lake attracts many people from all around. Super 8 Motel - Bedford/Roanoke Area is a brilliant site to get some rest, and there are other sites here than Spring Hill Lake, for example Bedford Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Spring Hill Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Markham Pond is a good lake near Spring Hill Lake; do take a hike on the Hunting Creek Trail.
 
   Throughout the summer months at Spring Hill Lake highs are usually in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Spring Hill Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Jennings Creek; Booker T Washington National Monument is a very great spot to take a look at. A good close by hotel is Peaks of Otter Wilderness Lodge, and why not take a  
               refreshing hike along the Fallingwater Trail.
Having a good time at Spring Hill Lake is trouble-free. If you came to camp Colon Hollow Shelter Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Spring Hill Lake; Flat Top Mountain Trail is a great local trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Spring Hill Lake is close to the national average; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone At Natural Bridge is always a pleasant experience, and glide down the rapids of North Creek in a kayak.
