A stunning lake like Taliaferro Pond near Spindle Pond is a great site to pop by, and close by you find the Wilderness Trail which is a nice hiking trail. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Colonial Beach is a brilliant choice; a nice place to camp here at Spindle Pond is Four winds Golf and Camping Club. During the months       of summer at Spindle Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Spindle Pond. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Spindle Pond. Why not camp at Big Timber Campground if you're here at Spindle Pond, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Broomstraw Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
