This lake is so wonderful. A good location to camp here at Sounders Pond is Eagle's Roost; dry warm beds await you at Mariners Landing at Smith Mountain Lake. Throughout the days of summer at Sounders Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with       temperatures at Sounders Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Sounders Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dark Hollow is a splendid site to discover; you can take a little journey to Saunders Pond Dam while you're here at Sounders Pond. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Sounders Pond.                  Going for a hike on the Fallingwater Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and you're probably keen on lakes, Saunders Pond is one of those close by.
