Near Sounders Pond you come across Dark Hollow which is a nice place to stop at, and a glorious site to camp here at Sounders Pond is Eagle's Roost. Summer at Sounders Pond arrives with high temperatures in the       80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Sounders Pond are in the 20's.
