For the period of the long summer days here at Smith Mountain Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Smith Mountain Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
