Good hiking is available along the Little Passage Trail. Courtyard by Marriott Winchester is a brilliant location to get some rest, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lake Saint Clair. There's some flowing water nearby, Cattail Run is a stream you can explore while here, and Silver Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Log Cabin Campground is a good local       campground. Babbs Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Silver Lake, and there are glorious sites to discover along the Old Romney Grade. Lakes are great; Lake Saint Clair is a lake that's right next door to Silver Lake; Silver Lake Dam is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Winchester here; a splendid close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Winchester. This place, Silver Lake, it clearly                  has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. If you came to camp Candy Hill Campground is a pleasant location to do that, and don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the Signal Knob Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Silver Lake you stumble on a golf course called Rock Harbor Golf Course; glide down the rapids of Back Creek - Potomac Tributary in a kayak. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Silver Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Silver Lake.
