The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much cool stuff to do here at Short Hill Farm Lake, too delightful to be true. On a splendid day at Short Hill Farm Lake you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail, and Short Hill Farm Lake is not the only location nearby, Willow Lake is a nearby lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer.       Shenandoah River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and Sky Meadows State Park is a nice campground nearby. The scenery at Short Hill Farm Dam right next door to Short Hill Farm Lake is charming; there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Loudoun Heights Trail. For the period of the summer at Short Hill Farm Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Highs through the winter                  are regularly in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Short Hill Farm Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
