This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Strasburg is a great choice; going for a hike on the Signal Knob Trail is always a nice adventure. Summertime highs at Seven Vistas Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into       the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Seven Vistas Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. After a long day outdoors Ramada Strasburg is a fine place to spend a night or two, and nearby you stumble on the Little Passage Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lots of folks from Winchester come to Seven Vistas Lake, and you can run the rapids of Cedar Creek. Peacefull Valley Lake is a good lake near Seven Vistas Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Hawk Campground is a good site to camp.
