Sengers Mountain Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Cold Spring Bald Mountain Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Sengers Mountain Lake, and a lake nearby is Lake Wilda. And that's not all you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sengers Mountain Lake is not the only site nearby, Hattons Pond is a nearby lake, and Tye River - Upper North Fork has       a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. The yearly precipitation here at Sengers Mountain Lake is about average; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. South River Number Six Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here, and close by you locate the Stony Run Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Hit the slopes at Wintergreen close at hand, and why not take a little tour to Cold Spring Branch if you're here.                  Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sengers Mountain Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Sengers Mountain Lake throughout the wintertime regularly descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Sengers Mountain Lake is not far at all from Staunton-Waynesboro, and if you need a place to stay Staunton - Days Inn Mint Springs is a great choice. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's so much to do here at Sengers Mountain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stoney Creek Resort is a fine location for that, and Raphine-Days Inn is a perfect site to get some rest. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you came to camp Walnut Hills Campground is a great place to do that; going for a hike on the Kennedy Ridge Trail is always a nice adventure.
