Any time is a good time at Seminole Lake if you adore the outdoors. A great location to camp here at Seminole Lake is Wildwood Campground; Harris Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. After a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Lynchburg is a nice site to spend a night or two, and Taylor Lake is a nearby lake that you could       have a look at. Golf can be played at Cedar Hills Golf Course. If you get bored of Seminole Lake, you could also pop by close by Rockdale Lake, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on James River. Summer at Seminole Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Seminole Lake. The high level                  of rain makes Seminole Lake a pretty wet place; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
