If you are traveling by, why not stop by Sego Pond. Not far from Sego Pond you obtain some fine water scenery at Sego Dam, and if you come at the right time of year, Hardware River - South Fork offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Wintergreen has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Hardware River - North Fork.
