The beauty of Sego Pond attracts many people from all around. Here at Sego Pond there are plenty of people from Charlottesville; do take a look at Sego Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Boars Head Inn, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Wintergreen. A great site to camp here at Sego Pond is Misty Mountain Camp Resort; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Turk Mountain

A great view of stunning Israel Mountain is available from Sego Pond, and if you get bored of Sego Pond you could also go to nearby Sportsman Lake. From a rain point of view Sego Pond is a rather normal site; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. There are some nice whitewater spots on Hardware River - South Fork.

and Blandemar Farm Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Charlottesville Koa Kampground while you're here at Sego Pond, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Sawmill
Ridge Trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are really abundant here at Sego Pond. Going for a hike along the Turk Branch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; if you need a spot to stay Sleep Inn ,Inn

Summer at Sego Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Sego Pond.
