After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Front Royal is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rush River. Don't leave Sawyer Pond without first going for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail, and Sawyer Pond is not the only site close by, Digulin Pond is a close by lake.       This lake is so wonderful. Sawyer Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and the view of stunning Oventop is wonderful. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Sawyer Pond reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Sawyer Pond plunge into the 10's.
