So much amusing stuff close to Ruffins Pond, completely incredible. From Ruffins Pond you acquire a great sight of Meade Pyramid. Fredericksburg Koa Kampground is a delightful campground nearby; why not explore E H Mills Memorial Dam since you're here. From a precipitation point of view Ruffins Pond is a reasonably common place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and       February is the month with the least moisture. Having a great time at Ruffins Pond is trouble-free. Stay the night at Indian Acres Club Of Thornburg, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Coon Trail. At Ruffins Pond throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Ruffins Pond temperatures                  dip to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Rappahannock River in a kayak, and going for a hike along the Gracik Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Take a little trip to Little Falls Run if you're here at Ruffins Pond; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Overland Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Richmond here, and what would a place like Ruffins Pond be without interesting nearby features like Dangerfield Short Turn. Ruffins Pond is not the only spot nearby, Haislip Pond is a nearby lake, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Fredericksburg Historic District is a great location to spend a night or two.
