E H Mills Memorial Dam is gorgeous and it's next to Ruffins Pond, and some nearby water includes Little Falls Run. Take a hike on the Coon Trail, and don't leave Ruffins Pond without first checking out Dangerfield Short Turn. High temperatures at Ruffins Pond during the summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures       descend down into the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Ruffins Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Aquia Creek, and Indian Acres Club Of Thornburg is a fine local campground. TownePlace Suites Fredericksburg is a great location to get some rest, and Pratt Bar is also a great spot to look at. All the outdoors amusing stuff close                  to Ruffins Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Ruffins Pond is great! Do pop by Ruffins Pond close to Ruffins Pond, it's a beautiful lake; Ruffins Pond is right by the Gracik Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Courtyard Fredericksburg Historic District is a good choice, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Richmond for sure. The amount of rain that falls at Ruffins Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
