This lake is so wonderful. Knights Inn - Charles Town is a delightful place to get some rest; nearby you locate the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. A splendid close by hotel is The Inn at Charles Town, and not far from Round Hill Reservoir you'll locate Sleeter Lake which is a lovely lake. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining       stuff, what a great earth it would be. There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Round Hill Reservoir called the Loudoun Heights Trail; a delightful place to camp here at Round Hill Reservoir is Antietam Creek Campground. At Round Hill Reservoir during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Round Hill Reservoir.                  Shenandoah River is a glorious whitewater spot close to Round Hill Reservoir, and Round Hill Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, KOA Kampgrounds is a nice local campground.
