High temperatures at Roosevelt Pond through the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Roosevelt Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mulberry       Inn, and Yorktown Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop by. Roosevelt Pond regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. Black Swamp is a glorious site to explore; the friendly people of Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News like to hang out nearby. Roosevelt Pond Dam is worth stopping at while you're here, and Holiday                  Inn Express NEWPORT NEWS is a pleasant location to get some rest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lee Pond is in close proximity to Roosevelt Pond, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the James River Trail. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Roosevelt Pond. This is a nice area for people who like lakes. Roosevelt Pond is a lake nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the College Run Trail.
