There are fine places to explore along the North Mountain Trail; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Robertson Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Robertson Lake is wonderful fun, Natural Bridge       Koa is a wonderful local campground, and Lexington - Days Inn Keydet General is a nice site to get some rest. Robertson Lake generally gets lots of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is December. This lake is so wonderful. Robertson Lake is a great site to camp, Lake Robertson Rec Park is a great site, and don't leave Robertson Lake without first going for a hike along the Rich Hole Trail. And if that's not enough                  there's a heap more fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colliers Creek; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Blacks Creek. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Simpson Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; Robertson Dam is not far at all from Robertson Lake. You're probably hooked on lakes, Lake Robertson is one of those nearby, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by The Homestead. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Robertson Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
