All the water falling down from the sky makes Rennicks Pond a wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; April is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Rennicks Pond is not far at all from Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do near Rennicks Pond. A glorious location to camp here at Rennicks       Pond is Five Forks Motel and Campground, and going for a hike on the Forestry Trail is always a great adventure. At Rennicks Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Rennicks Pond. Camping is available at Jamestown Beach Campsites, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Rennicks Pond Dam.                  This lake is so wonderful. Chisel Run flows through this region, and since you're here you can play some golf at Williamsburg National Golf Club. Near Rennicks Pond you locate the College Run Trail which is a great hiking trail; do stop at Eastern State Hospital Reservoir, it's a striking lake. If you need a site to stay Sunterra Greensprings Plantation Resort is a great choice, and you can go for a hike on the James River Trail.
