A journey to Dam Neck in the neighborhood of Lake Redwing is always a magnificent idea, needless to say you could also pop by Lake Christine while you're here; it's not far at all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Redwing; Long Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail; there are plenty of folks from Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News here. Lake Redwing is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; July is the month that gets the                  most rain; November is the month with the least moisture.
