You don’t have to go far from Rayborn Lake to catch a sight of the water at Rayborn Dam; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Ardarra Farm Lake. Goodstone Inn is a perfect location to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Shenandoah River for all you adrenaline kick people. There are some great whitewater spots on Broad Run, and close by you stumble on the Belle Meade Linden Trail       which is a great hiking trail. Any time is a great time at Rayborn Lake if you go for the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Rayborn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sky Meadows State Park is a brilliant location for that, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dog Branch. If you came to camp Greenville Farm Family Campground is a nice place to do that, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Loudoun Heights Trail.                  This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a good adventure. An average amount of precipitation falls at Rayborn Lake; most of the rain falls through July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Warrenton is a good site to spend a night or two. Lakes are great; McGhee Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Rayborn Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Rayborn Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 60's.
