     There's so much to do here at Queensmeer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Westview On The James is a wonderful spot for that; you're probably into lakes, Licking Hole Farm Pond is one of those nearby. For the duration of the days of summer at Queensmeer Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Queensmeer Lake dipping  
   down into the 20's during winter nights. The yearly precipitation here at Queensmeer Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest. Queensmeer Lake in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise.
Queensmeer Dam is worth stopping at if you're here, and if you came to camp Cozy Acres Family Campground is a perfect site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Looking
 
               for something right next door to Queensmeer Lake? Picketts Creek Reservoir is close by, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Amelia Court House is a good choice. Best Western Crossroads Inn & Suites is a fine place to get some rest, and why not take a little visit to Muddy Creek while you're here.
