If you get bored of Queensmeer Lake, you could also take a look at close by Picketts Creek Reservoir, and do stop at Queensmeer Dam since you're here. If you came for an overnight stay Cozy Acres Family Campground is a good       place to camp. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Queensmeer Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows at Queensmeer Lake throughout the wintertime mostly drop into the 20's. From a rainfall point of view Queensmeer Lake is a pretty common place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
