Sherando Lake Campground
Well me and my family have been going to Sharando Lake ever since I was born and we havn't gone anywhere else I love sherando and I can't wait to go back for another memorable camping weekend!...As close to perfect a camping experience as you can get: 1) Private, secluded, spacious campsites 2)access to flush toilets and showers, 3) a breathtakingly beautiful lake/swim area 4)hiking trails. WORD OF CAUTION: in-season, all sites are snapped up by Thurday noon for the weekend. Come on Sunday for best selection or before Thursday if you want a shot at a campsite. They don't take reservations (as of 8/2006) Wish they would so everyone could have a shot at a weekend camping trip there, not just the locals who can zip in and set a few camping chairs on the sites on Thursday to claim it for the weekend. ...

Back Creek - South River Tributary
We would like to get info on prices and times for the whitewater rafting. We will be in the area the weekend of July 10th, 11th and leaving the 12th....Are there kayak rentals?...
