During the days of summer here at Quail Ridge Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Quail Ridge Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Greenville Farm Family Campground; Goose Creek has a great whitewater       paddling spot nearby. A journey to Catoctin Mountain Park is worthwhile, and if you need a spot to stay Hilton Garden Inn Dulles North is a great choice. An average amount of rainfall falls at Quail Ridge Lake; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. A round of golf at nearby Bull Run Golf Club is a brilliant way to kill some time; of course, this is a glorious area for folks who like lakes, Beaverdam Reservoir                  is a lake around here. Quail Ridge Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. There's so much to do here at Quail Ridge Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a fine place for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Goose Creek Reservoir. Quail Ridge Dam is not far at all from Quail Ridge Lake, and do visit Lenah Run if you're here at Quail Ridge Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
