The high level of rainfall makes Pond Number 11 a relatively wet spot; July is the month that gets the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the College Run Trail; the James River Trail offers hiking at its best. Taking a little spree to close by Poley       Point is a wonderful idea, and do stop by Pond Number 11A, it's a charming lake. Anvil Campground is a good campground nearby, and a scenic lake like Pond Number 10 is a great spot to visit. After a long day outdoors Crowne Plaza Hotel WILLIAMSBURG is a fine place to spend a night or two, and there's always Penniman Dam to visit in close proximity to Pond Number 11. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Pond Number 11. It's a great idea to check                  out Felgates Creek, it's right next door to Pond Number 11, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pond Number 11; Lower Chippokes Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Pond Number 11 and you like golf, you can visit Colonial Golf Course & Golf Academy, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Days Hotel Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area. During the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Pond Number 11. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
