It's always glorious to pop by Cool Spring, and get wet paddling on Harris Creek. The high level of precipitation makes Pine Lake a reasonably wet location; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. Why not camp at Wildwood Campground if you're here at Pine Lake. Lakes are tremendous; Mountain       View Lake is a lake that's close to Pine Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Pine Lake with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Pine Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is SpringHill Suites Lynchburg, and a round of golf at nearby Cedar Hills Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Paradise Lake Campground                  is a pleasant local campground. You can take a little tour to Pine Lake Dam if you're here at Pine Lake; drift down the rapids of James River in a kayak. Having a great time at Pine Lake is simple.
