Bowens Branch flows through this region, and Burch Hollow is also a pleasant spot to explore. You're sure to encounter some good people from Martinsville here, and don't forget to stop at Mize Point since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Smith River for all you adrenaline kick people; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not explore Hales Ponds. If       you came to camp Fairy Stone State Park is a great location to do that, and Bryant Lakes is a magnificent lake nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. If you need a location to stay Collinsville Knights Inn is a magnificent choice, and Philpott Dam is picturesque. All the water falling down from the sky makes Philpott Lake a wet location; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly                  the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Indian Heritage RV Park is always a good experience; you can run the rapids of North Mayo. Quality Inn Dutch Inn is a great place to get some rest, and magnificent hiking is available along the Casters Trail. All through the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Philpott Lake; the night is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 50's.
