A lake close by is Browns Pond, and Foxtail Hollow is in close proximity, and is a perfect location. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on       the Marshall Draft Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby The Homestead. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bullpasture River, and getting to Campbell Run from Persimmon Pond is simple.
