Go to Peaks of Otter Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Take a little visit to Fallingwater Creek while you're here at Peaks of Otter Lake, and going for a hike on the Flat Top Mountain Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Peaks of Otter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wonderful Life Campground is a fine place for that; at Peaks of Otter Dam in close proximity to Peaks of Otter Lake there are

| | some interesting things to see. Be careful coming to Peaks of Otter Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Visiting Booker T Washington National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Go for a hike on the McFalls Ridge Trail, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are tremendous places to discover along the Fallingwater Trail, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Bedford/Roanoke Area is a great choice. There's whitewater
on Jennings Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; dry warm beds await you at Bedford Days Inn. For the duration of the summer highs here at Peaks of Otter Lake get into the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, generally
in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Peaks of Otter Lake through the wintertime commonly fall into the 20's. All year is a brilliant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you like the outdoors.
