Peaks of Otter Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Peaks of Otter Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Interesting geology is available here; The Pinnacle is in the neighborhood of Peaks of Otter Lake, and do take a hike on the Flat Top Mountain Trail.

wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Fallingwater Creek, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the McFalls Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit North Creek, and Buzzards Roost
is easy to spot from Peaks of Otter Lake. Glide down the rapids of Jennings Creek in a kayak, and Booker T Washington National Monument is a tremendous place close by. Having a perfect time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is painless.
A nice site to camp here at Peaks of Otter Lake is Wonderful Life Campground; a short visit to Big Spring is always worthwhile. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Peaks of Otter Lake. Hiking along the Fallingwater
Trail is brilliant fun, and there's always Peaks of Otter Dam to pop by in the neighborhood of Peaks of Otter Lake. Summer at Peaks of Otter Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures
are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Peaks of Otter Lake.
