Beans Hill is simple to spot from Peacefull Valley Lake; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Back Creek - Potomac Tributary. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far       from Peacefull Valley Lake to see the water at Kelchners Dam; do take a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail. A tremendous nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Middletown; a spree to Shenandoah National Park is worthwhile. Whitewater paddling is great on Cedar Creek, and the Signal Knob Trail offers hiking at its best. Just can't get enough of Peacefull Valley Lake.
