While you're here at Peacefull Valley Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Cherokee Lake. The annual precipitation here at Peacefull Valley Lake is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Camping at Cove Campgrounds       is always a wonderful experience; during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Winchester for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a delightful little visit to Lick Run; Peacefull Valley Lake is right by the Signal Knob Trail. Just can't get enough of Peacefull Valley Lake. The scenery at Kelchners Dam in close proximity to Peacefull Valley Lake is pretty, and Beans Hill is clearly visible from Peacefull Valley Lake. Have a good hiking                  adventure along the Bear Wallow Trail, and glide down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak. Get wet paddling on Back Creek - Potomac Tributary, and camping is available at Battle Of Cedar Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Little Passage Trail; a tremendous close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Strasburg. Summertime highs at Peacefull Valley Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 50's.
