Many people like to go to Orchard Lake. Stay the night at Beartree - George Washington National Forest, and a fine close by hotel is Roanoke-Daystop Troutville. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Barbours Creek; Booker T Washington National Monument is one of the destinations that are pleasant to have a look at nearby. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

| | You don’t have to go far from Orchard Lake to spot the water at Orchard Lake Dam; don't leave Orchard Lake without first going for a hike along the North Mountain Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Rulman Branch, and splendid hiking is available along the Fenwick Nature Trail. Orchard Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. If | |

Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You truly must have a thing about Orchard Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; The Homestead is in the neighborhood of Orchard Lake, and after a long day outdoors Howard
Johnson Inn Daleville is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Lots of people from Roanoke come to Orchard Lake.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are tremendous places to discover along
the Curry Creek Trail, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Brookside Par 3 Golf Course. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Orchard Lake, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course,
typically in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Orchard Lake are in the 20's.
