But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Obrien Pond. Obrien Pond is not the only spot nearby, New Ash Pond is a nearby lake, and don't forget to take a tremendous little visit to Bear Garden Creek. High temperatures at Obrien Pond throughout the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.       For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Obrien Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Obrien Pond; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious site to camp here at Obrien Pond is Cedar Crest At Twin Lakes State Park, and if you come at the right time of year, Hardware River offers some great whitewater.
