Norton Reservoirs gets a normal amount of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Norton Reservoirs while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Norton Reservoirs descend into the 20's. This       lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Inn at Norton is a good choice, and needless to say Knob Branch is a striking stream that is worth stopping at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. You can make out Eagle Knob from Norton Reservoirs; why not stop by Lower Norton Reservoir Dam if you're here. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A fine                  site in the vicinity of Norton Reservoirs is Benges Gap; you can stay the night at Cane Patch Campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Norton Reservoirs you can take a hike along the Pine Mountain Trail. This place, Norton Reservoirs, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A lake nearby is Upper Norton Reservoir, and Big Stony - Mountain Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
