A picturesque lake like Horseshoe Pond right next door to North Pond is a great       site to go to; the peak of Italian Hill can be seen from North Pond. North Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is April. North Pond is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Virginia Landing is a wonderful spot to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Anchor Inn - Onley is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. High temperatures at North Pond                  throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 70's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to North Pond. A day at Parramore Beach near North Pond is time well spent, and do stop by Goose Lakes, it's a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at North Pond.
