Going for a hike on the Story Book Trail is always a delightful adventure; gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you get at Massanutten. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Riverside Camping and Canoeing is a brilliant location to camp, and Shenandoah National Park is a perfect local destination. For the period of the warm months highs here at Newport       Reservoir reach the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Newport Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too tremendous to be true. Take a side tour to Cub Run; after a long day outdoors Days Inn New                  Market Battlefield is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Chapman Dovel Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes, Shenandoah Reservoir is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is a good campground nearby, and you can take a little spree to Newport Dam if you're here at Newport Reservoir. Don't leave Newport Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Stony Run Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Harrisonburg here. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place!
