It's a nice idea to have a look at Bobs Creek, it's near Nelson Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Tye River. Nelson Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of rain; October is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The White Rock Gap Trail is a       glorious hiking trail near Nelson Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Rucker Run offers some great whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Nelson Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Nelson Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading.
