    A visit to Napiers and Savage Lake is always a good idea. If you come at the right time of year, James River offers some great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Napiers and Savage Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Passages Adventure Camp is a great location for that. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Napiers and Savage Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Cosbys Lake, and Napiers and Savage Dam is  
   wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Richmond here at Napiers and Savage Lake, and you can stay the night at Pocahontas State Park. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Corporate Gateway is a good choice, and don't miss out on a spree to Prince William Forest Park while you're here. At Napiers and Savage Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's.
 
               The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Napiers and Savage Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
Dry warm beds await you at Richmond/Midlothian Turnpike Super 8 Motel, and it's a splendid idea to stop by Horners Run. The high level of rainfall makes Napiers and Savage Lake a relatively wet location; August is the wettest month with most rain; April meanwhile is the driest month.
