Get drenched paddling on Stony Creek - New Tributary, and Holiday Inn Blacksburg, Va is a glorious spot to get some rest. If you want to visit some out of the ordinary stuff, visit Bear Cliff; a golf course close by is Castle Rock Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Hawthorn Blacksburg University is a pleasant choice; do take a hike on       the Conservancy Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The War Spur Trail offers hiking at its best; why not camp at Mcguire's Campground while you're here at Mountain Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Mountain Lake. Bald Knob can be distinguished from Mountain Lake, and Mountain Lake is right by the War Spur Connector. Camping is available at New River Junction Campground, and Mountain Lake is not far at all from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford.                  Mountain Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through July, and January on the other hand is the driest. Hunters Branch is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Little Stony Creek. Summertime highs at Mountain Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
