If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Lake is not the only place nearby, Big Pond is a nearby lake, and Moncove Lake State Park is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Knob is clearly visible from Mountain Lake, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Little Stony Creek.       Have a perfect hiking adventure along the War Spur Trail, and Castle Rock Golf Course is a good golf course close by. You can run the rapids of Stony Creek - New Tributary near Mountain Lake; going for a hike along the War Spur Connector will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If you need a spot to stay Hawthorn Blacksburg University is a perfect choice, and obviously Hunters Branch flows through this vicinity. Mountain Lake gets a common                  amount of yearly rainfall; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. Mountain Lake is not far at all from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford, and if you came for an overnight stay New River Junction Campground is a great location to camp. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Blacksburg, Va, and some interesting geology is available here, Bear Cliff is right here. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. While you're here at Mountain Lake you can take a hike along the Conservancy Trail, and a lake close by is Pandapas Pond. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Mountain Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
