From Mosby Lake you get a great vista of Poes Mountain; a magnificent location for whitewater paddling is Rush River. There's                  always Mosby Dam to stop by next to Mosby Lake, and Mosby Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Sky Meadows State Park is a delightful place to camp nearby. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Mosby Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Mosby Lake through the winter ordinarily drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
