Going for a hike on the Saddleback Mountain Trail is always a good adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Buck Mountain Creek. Don't leave Morris Pond       without first going for a hike along the Hensley Hollow Trail. A pleasant site to camp here at Morris Pond is Charlottesville Koa Kampground, and not far from Morris Pond you'll hit upon Craig Pond which is a beautiful lake. For the period of the summer here at Morris Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the                  winter temperatures at Morris Pond drop into the 20's.
