Visiting Prince William Forest Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; the good people of Richmond like to hang out close by. lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Moore Lake, you could also stop at close by Redwater Lake, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn Richmond Chester is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
A golf course near Moore Lake is Bermuda Golf Course, and if you came for an overnight stay Roadrunner Campground is a great place to camp. You can run the rapids of Appomattox River in close proximity to Moore Lake; Ponderosa Mobile Home Park is a pleasant local campground.
