While you're here at Moody Pond you can take a hike along the James River Trail; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News. If you need a site to stay Kingsmill Resort is a splendid       choice, and there are other sites here than Moody Pond, for example Kingsmill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Moody Pond, you'll hit upon Warehams Pond which is a wonderful lake, and why not check out Kingsmill Dam if you're here. Through the warmest time of the year at Moody Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights                  at Moody Pond are in the 20's. While you're here at Moody Pond you should go to Hog Point, and you can stay the night at Anvil Campground. If the weather is glorious here at Moody Pond, you can go for a hike along the College Run Trail.
