While you're here at Middleton Lake you can play some golf at Cedar Hill Country Club, and Cumberland River - Poor Fork is a good whitewater spot close by. Middleton Dam is an interesting thing to check out; if you came for an overnight stay Cave Springs Campground is a brilliant site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Powell River close to Middleton       Lake. A large amount of rain falls at Middleton Lake; most of the rain falls all through July while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Middleton Lake is not the only site close by, Flag Pond is a close by lake; camping is available at Harlan County Campground and RV Park. So many fun things to do here at Middleton Lake, too pleasant to be true. Getting to Bergen Branch from Middleton Lake is easy, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a                  wonderful location to get some rest. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Hiking along the Daniel Boone Trail is great fun, and nearby you stumble on Bow Gap which is a magnificent location to check out. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! All through the long summer days highs here at Middleton Lake get into the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's.
