This site, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Since you're here at Middleton Lake why not stop by Bow Gap; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Powell River. During the months of summer here at Middleton Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at

If you came to camp Cave Springs Campground is a great site to do that, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Cumberland River - Poor Fork. So much exciting stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not enough time. A delightful lake like Flag Pond close to Middleton Lake is a delightful location to have a look at, and playing golf is lots of fun at Cedar Hill Country Club. This lake is one | |

of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Howard Pond in the vicinity of Middleton Lake, and naturally Bergen Branch flows through this vicinity. This lake is so
wonderful. Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect location to get some rest. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Middleton Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Middleton Lake that you need to camp here for a
while, Harlan County Campground and RV Park is a wonderful spot for that, and Middleton Dam is a picturesque place. The high level of rain makes Middleton Lake a pretty wet location; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the
driest month of the year is October. A delightful close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express HARLAN, and close by you discover the Daniel Boone Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
