Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Curry Creek Trail, and the scenery at Melody Dam is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. Melody Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rising Star Sports & Adventure is a nice local campground, and do take a hike on the Casters Trail. All through the warm days of summer here at Melody Lake, high temperatures frequently       get into the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Melody Lake. Melody Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Camping at Beartree - George Washington National Forest is always a pleasant experience, and this is a popular site for people from Roanoke. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more cool things                  to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike along the North Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and the sights at Booker T Washington National Monument will blow your mind.
