Many people like to go to Medmont Lake. Medmont Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Medmont Lake called the Trout Creek Appalachian Trail. There's so much to do here at Medmont Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beartree - George Washington National Forest is a delightful spot for that. A typical amount of rain falls here at Medmont Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around

I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Medmont Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Medmont Lake. On a perfect day at Medmont Lake you can take a hike along the North Mountain Trail, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Roanoke for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Booker T Washington National Monument is one of the destinations close to Medmont Lake that are delightful to go to, and why not a little side spree to Barnhardt Creek. Craig Creek
is a fine whitewater spot in close proximity to Medmont Lake, and the peak of Sugarloaf Mountain can be distinguished from Medmont Lake. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Medmont Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight
is a little cooler of course, usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Medmont Lake tend to be in the 20's.
