So many cool things near Meadow Lake, definitely mind-blowing. The scenery at Meadowlake Dam right next door to Meadow Lake is stunning, and there's fine hiking along the Old Romney Grade. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak; if you get bored of Meadow Lake you could also stop at nearby Crystal Lake. Meadow Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; through       the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Don't leave Meadow Lake without first going for a hike along the Little Passage Trail, and one of the dominant features of the surroundings of Meadow Lake is Beans Hill. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Meadow Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Meadow                  Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Meadow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Battle Of Cedar Creek Campground, and lots of people from Winchester come here. This lake is so wonderful. Meadow Lake is not the only place nearby, Cherokee Lake is a nearby lake, and Fairfield Inn & Suites Strasburg is a great spot to get some rest. A fine place right next door to Meadow Lake is Clowser Gap, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Inn Strasburg VA is a nice place to spend a night or two. Having a splendid time at Meadow Lake is uncomplicated. Go for a hike on the Signal Knob Trail; you can stay the night at Cove Campgrounds.
