If you are traveling by, why not stop by McGhee Lake. Dog Branch is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at; McGhee Lake is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Shenandoah River. If you came for an overnight stay Greenville Farm Family Campground is a delightful location to camp; Ardarra Farm Lake is a magnificent lake nearby.

| | place to spend a night or two; the Loudoun Heights Trail offers hiking at its best. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Rayborn Dam near McGhee Lake, and Mountain View Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Polecat Hill can be spotted from McGhee Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Leesburg.

into a kayak and hit Broad Run, and a beautiful lake like Precision Dynamics Lake is a tremendous spot to stop at. Summertime highs at McGhee Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. High
temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's while McGhee Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. From a rainfall point of view McGhee Lake is a reasonably typical location; throughout July this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
