There's so much to do here at McDaniels Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Interstate Overnight Park is a splendid place for that. McDaniels       Lake is right by the Johns Creek Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Collegiate Inn of Blacksburg. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at McDaniels Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McDaniels Lake has to offer, you can camp at Moncove Lake State Park; the smiling folks of Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford like to hang out nearby.
