| | are in the 80's at Matoaka Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Matoaka Lake tend to be in the 20's.

and you like golf, you can stop at Colonial Golf Course & Golf Academy, and if you need a place to stay Williamsburg-Days Inn Colonial Williamsburg/Downtown Area is a nice choice. Looking for some flowing water? Try Halfway Creek,
and since you're here you can take a hike along the Forestry Trail.
Why not stop by Matoaka Dam since you're here, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the James River Trail. Matoaka Lake usually gets a great deal
of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is April. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Tutters Neck Pond; dry warm beds await you at Williamsburg Hospitality House.
