Massie Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Back Creek - South River Tributary, and the snow is great at Wintergreen. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is unbeatable! After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Staunton, VA is a tremendous place

| | to spend a night or two; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Massanutten is relatively near. Be careful coming to Massie Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Massie Pond is a fine location to visit for more than one day, KOA Campgrounds is a fine location to camp nearby, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a tremendous view of Betsey Bell from Massie Pond. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Blue Ridge Mountains | |

has to offer. Some nearby water includes Goose Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Massie Pond; Turkey Pen Ridge Trail is a wonderful local trail. Guesthouse Intl Staunton is a splendid site to get some rest; tremendous
hiking is available along the Kennedy Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Massie Pond has to offer, you can camp at Shenandoah Valley Campground; don't leave Massie Pond without
first going for a hike along the Stony Run Trail. Massie Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the summer highs here
at Massie Pond reach the 80's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Massie Pond. Massie Pond is not far at all from Staunton-Waynesboro, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Middle River.
