The Big Meadow Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Marshall Creek Pond; Marshall Creek Dam is a pretty site, without doubt worth going to. From a rainfall point of view Marshall Creek Pond is a pretty typical place; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Marshall Creek Pond,       you could also visit stunning Omohundra Millpond; some of the water close by flows, like Antioch Branch. Summertime highs at Marshall Creek Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Marshall Creek Pond. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. At Marshall Creek Pond you always meet someone from Lexington Park; you get a fine view of Prospect Hill from here.
