Luray Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too glorious to be true. Kettle Canyon is a tremendous place to go to near Luray Reservoir; get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Shenandoah River - South Fork. After a long day outdoors Cardinal Inn By Silver Star is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby

| | Lake Arrowhead. The annual rain here at Luray Reservoir is about average; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. All year is a glorious time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you go for the outdoors. There is a good hiking trail near Luray Reservoir called the Timber Hollow Trail, and camping at Country waye RV Resort is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. more than a day at, Camp OutBack is a good local campground, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Rose River. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If time allows, Shenandoah National Park is a national park
worth checking out; there's some flowing water close by, North Fork Dry Run is a stream you can stop by while you're here. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Luray Reservoir reach the 80's, and throughout the night
it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Luray Reservoir. On a brilliant day at Luray Reservoir you can take a hike along the White Oak Canyon Trail, and if
you're here you can play some golf at Caverns Country Club. Luray Days Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Luray Reservoir you can take a hike along the Crusher Ridge Trail,
and Pine Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Luray Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
